An Intra-District Transfer may be revoked at any time due to behavior or attendance issues. Students approved for an Intra-District Transfer Assignment are not eligible for transportation by the District. They must apply and be accepted, if space is available. Incoming siblings are not automatically accepted. UPDATE (January 25, 2023) - Timeline for Schools of Choice for the 2023-24 school year: They will be given sibling preference, but must apply and accept placement when offered. Siblings of students currently attending P-CCS as part of the School of Choice program must apply during an open application period to be eligible to attend P-CCS. Once a family is accepted into the district under the School of Choice program, they are eligible to remain with the district until the student graduates from high school, provided there isn't a break in enrollment. School of Choice families are choosing the district and will be placed at school with available space. School of Choice families do not have the ability to select a particular school. If the Board of Education votes to have School of Choice, information/details will be posted to the website following the Board of Education meeting that it is approved. The Board of Education will typically consider whether to have School of Choice in January.
The Board of Education must vote annually to have the School of Choice option. School of Choice is only for families that do not live within the Plymouth-Canton Community School District boundaries.
